Majority of our orders ship out same day! However, please allow up to 10-14 business days for processing and shipping. If your item is out of stock before we are able to update our site, you will be contacted and partially refunded. If you want to place a bulk order (1lb+), please email sacredrootz9@yahoo.com, subject line: Bulk Order. Once the order has shipped, please check your tracking for all USPS updates. Any USPS delays are out of our control.

Occasionally popular items sell out before we can update their status on our website. In the event you have placed an order with us and an ordered item is out-of-stock, you will be contacted within 4 days after your order has been placed to inform you when we anticipate your order to ship.

Khet Waas Hutip, is an herbalist, educator, author, and owner of Sacred Rootz, a holistic wellness brand rooted in African and Gullah Geechee traditions of plant medicine and ancestral healing.

A student of Dr. Laila Afrika, Khet’s work reflects a strong foundation in African centered health, nutrition, and disease prevention, combined with hands-on herbal practice. His approach emphasizes restoring balance, strengthening the body’s natural pathways, and addressing root causes rather than symptoms.

Through herbal formulations, education, nature walks, and community workshops, Khet weaves together traditional plant knowledge, energetics, seasonal rhythms, minerals, and spiritual ecology. He is the author of Sacred Rootz: African and Gullah Traditions of Plants, Spirit, and Healing and continues to teach practical, culturally grounded methods for reconnecting with plants, ancestry, and holistic health.

Barbara James-Payne

Barbara James(A'ashashtat Sakhamtat)is an intuitiveherbalist, Shamanic Medicine Practitioner,and healerfrom Mt. Holly, NJ, whose life journey embodies service, discovery, and deep transformation.

She has been formally initiated and certified through the Ecology of Shamanism Institute in the sacred medicines of Kambo, Psilocybin, Rapé, Mapacho, Syrian Rue, Golden Vine Tea, and Sananga, and practices as a Shamanic Medicine Practitioner, honoring both the spiritual and ethical responsibilities of this path. She continues her advanced training as a devoted student of Master Herbalist Khet Waas Hutip, owner of Sacred Rootz LLC, and as a mentee of Taheera Maat through the Ecology of Shamanism.
