Flora de Manita (The little hand flower) is a beautiful red flower that grows in central and South America. It’s a medicinal plant mainly used for heart diseases, lowering blood pressure, and epilepsy. As a natural diuretic, the tea reduces water retention (edema) and supports the kidneys to remove excess fluids. Also used traditionally to treat diarrhea, the petals provide flavonoids that soothe and protect the bowel, reduce abdominal pain and ease the discomfort of piles.
