Kelp contains nearly thirty minerals. It is rich in iodine, calcium, sulphur and silicon. It also contains phosphorus, iron, sodium, potassium, magnesium, chlorine, copper, zinc and manganese. It has a small amount of barium, boron, chromium, lithium, nickel, silver, titanium, vanadium, aluminum, strontium, bismuth, cobalt, gallium, tin and zirconium. Kelp is rich in B-complex vitamins and contains vitamin A, C,E, G and the antihemorrhage vitamin K.
