Osha root (Ligusticum porteri)
The osha plant is most commonly found along forest edges and ravines of the Rocky Mountain Colorado Columbine and Aspen Bluehills and can grow up to three feet tall. Its apart of the carrot and parsley family. Osha is an antibacterial and antiviral herb, best known for its ability to soothe a sore throat, treat a cough, and relieve inflammation of the bronchial tubes.
Osha was often used as an analgesic herb because its ability to alleviate pain in the body.
