Chasteberries is native to Central Asia and the Mediterranean. The shrub has blue-violet flowers, dark purple berries, and long, finger-shaped leaves. The fruit is also known as vitex or monk's berry because it was used to abstain from sexual desires in monks. One of the best health benefits of Chaste berries is improving infertility in women.
